If you are a coffee fiend like us, you don’t want to miss this pop-up café in the Dubai desert this winter. Now that the weather is cooling down in Dubai, there’s nothing nicer than a relaxing coffee al fresco, and whether you’re an “iced latté all year round” type of person, or you love a traditional flat white or a sweeter Spanish latté, One Degree Café has it all for you!

Sometimes, you need to escape the city’s hustle and bustle and head out over the sand dunes for some true relaxation. Located in the Arabian desert close to Margham, this coffee shop pop-up blends the perfect mix of modern café vibes with ultimate peace and tranquility. It should take about 45 minutes to drive there from Dubai, but trust us, it’s worth the effort! We would specifically recommend heading out there before sunset – the views are absolutely remarkable over the orange sand dunes as the sun comes down.

At night, the café comes alive with live fire performances and traditional Arabic dances. This live entertainment will surely keep the whole family amused all evening, and there are even opportunities for camel and horse riding. If you get peckish, the café also has food trucks serving hot dogs and sliders, as well as tasty desserts and, of course, delicious coffee-based drinks made from premium Arabica coffee beans.

This is more than just a quick trip to the coffee shop; it’s an entire evening of fun from start to finish. The opening time for the café is from 5pm to 1am, so you’ll have plenty of time to enjoy the beauty of the Arabian desert well into the evening.

One Degree Café does have other locations as well, so if you’d rather not trek out to the desert for some dessert, you can find other branches in Jumeirah, Last Exit Al Khawaneej, Alwarqa, and Mushrief, Ajman. However, we really recommend checking out its sandy pop-up, as it is a truly unique experience. After dark, the fairy lights and lanterns make this a magical place under the stars, so be sure to bring your phone or camera to snap some photos for your Instagram followers!
